“We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within this, inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise.”

-Edward Sellner

How do you want to be remembered? Our stories are the links that connect to our generations, past, present and future. Since the dawn of time, people have gathered around the flaming embers of the fire, darkness distanced by the dancing flicker of warmth and light, eager to hear stories told and re-told by their elders. Long before humankind could read or write, the storyteller was held with highest respect, for it was the stories that bind the tribe and weave the ancestral tapestry of family and belonging. At True North Camera Arts we understand the importance of documenting these timeless stories. From our first meeting to the final presentation we create a professional quality video legacy package, sure to become a treasured heirloom for generations to come.

*Veterans History Project

Since 2007, the Veterans History Project - an initiative of the Library of Congress and the American Folklore Center - has been collecting, preserving, and making available the personal accounts of all American war veterans "so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war". The Project encourages the submission of personal accounts, interviews, veterans audio, veterans video, written memoirs and photos and documents. And they provide a "Field Kit" to assist interviews and a "Memoir Guidelines" for those veterans writing their own account. The Veterans History Project also welcomes stories from the "home front”.

*If the person being interviewed has served in the military in any capacity, they will receive a 10% discount on the package of choice.
